I'm from Wisconsin and currently learning the fantastic art of bowl turning! There's an excellent sense of satisfaction when wood chips are flying in your face and when the sharp chisels remove shavings from a really fast-turning piece of wood. Over the course of a couple of fails and mistakes, it seems to get more and more enjoyable as you improve!

So if you couldn't tell I enjoy making bowls! Some people don't realize there is more than just bowls you can make on lathes, There is an infinite amount of things that can be made! Anything from a simple bowl to a candle stick holder, be creative.

My project list seems to be all over the place, though, of late, trending more towards chairs and spoon carving, though luthier and tool work are interests. I drawn to overly complex joinery and/or more flowing organic lines and rarely make two identical items almost always my own design (for better or worse)
